DentalTeach is a webbased e-learning software for dentist,
that can be used to learn interoral bitewing diagnosis.
DentalTeach is presently deployed for a first time test run. In this version all basic features
of the trainermodule are already available. A detailed
online help system and a discussion board will be available
at a later date.
DentalTeach offers:

independant learning

- large case database rated by
experts
- learning progress can be monitored
and visualised by statistics and charts
- internationalised user interface
(English and German locales, more to come)
- low barriers as a wide range
of web browsers and plattforms are supported (JavaScript,
Flash Plugin, Java Applets can be used but are not
required for basic functions )

| 17-11-2003 02:03:29 - Bugfix: prevent double submits of tasks that were already rated |
| It was possible to submit an already rated task by using the browsers back function. A transactional token that is generated by the struts framework for each tasksheet now prevents this error. |

| Chart images are now cached on the serverside. When the data doesn't change durching a http session the previously generated image file is served without creating a new image. This saves lots of time and speeds up statistics and charting noticeably. |

| 15-11-2003 01:57:21 - first alpha version of DentalTeach up for testing |
| The very first version of DentalTeach is now online and ready for testing. It is not feature complet by now, but that basic functions like user registration, unit creation and deletion, task evaluation and progress statistics already work fine. Also note that DentalTeach is internationalised right form the start!
